The longer I am alive
the more I am convinced that many Christians:
•
WANT to be deceived,
•
WANT to be lied to,
•
WANT to be led astray,
•
WANT to avoid thinking,
•
WANT to avoid searching the Scriptures,
•
WANT to be led around by the nose,
•
WANT to swallow any doctrine under the guise of phony love,
•
WANT to be led like Lemmings to the cliff.
The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule
by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in
the end thereof?  (Jeremiah 5:31)
The Scriptures put it in the following way:
(Isa 5:20 KJV) Woe unto them that call evil good, and
good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter
for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
I have been in many debates both on and off the internet
with Christians who have such minute understanding of Scripture, I begin to
wonder if I am talking to Christians or back in the bars. Just recently I
brought to light a group of people who completely refute the existence of Satan
and the existence of angels. The Christians which answered back, did not say
they would check it out in Scripture, rather they jumped all over me because I
dared challenge their self-appointed leader.
I knew a pastor who stated that drinking highballs and
women wearing short skirts is exercising Christian liberty. One pastor taught
Christ is Lucifer. One theologian at Asbury Theological Seminary said it is okay
for women to preach because 1 Cor. 14:33 is an "obscure" verse. One pastor
taught the Book of Mary in Sunday School. One pastor says the Bible records 4
ways Christ will return and they can all be backed up by Scripture. (I thought
there was only one return of Christ) One pastor says the Catholic Eucharist is
equal to the Lord's Supper. One "Christian? Psychologist on the radio said "God
had fantasies and turned them into realities." This radio network took
Unshackled off for doctrinal differences but this twisted psychobabbler was
allowed to remain on the radio.
Many pastors and theologians attack the King James Bible
with textual criticism. Most Christians mix psychology with the Scriptures
believing it will improve one's life. WWJD movement-How can mortal man know what
Jesus would do? He is God and the Scriptures teach, (Rom 11:34 KJV) "For who
hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?" The WWJD
movement is just another attempt to bring Christ down to man's level, of course,
for a profit to the heathen publishers and manufacturers.
The Bible is nothing more than a commodity to be
rewritten and interpreted according to any school of thought which is palatable
and inoffensive to the unbeliever and the good givers in the church. "Can't we
just love" says the average Christian. What is love?
(2 John 1:6 KJV) And this is love, that we walk after
his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the
beginning, ye should walk in it.
And how do we walk according to His commandments?
(Josh 1:7-8 KJV) Only be thou strong and very
courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law,
which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or
to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. {8} This
book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate
therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is
written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou
shalt have good success.
Notice God warns us that we are not to divert from the
law (which is the whole Bible) not one "yod" or "iota." One more thing before I
close my train of thought on this subject. We must never name names when
exposing a cult or false Bible teacher because that is considered "name calling"
and "unchristian like." After all, WHAT WOULD JESUS DO? Let's find out:
(Mat 23:13-16 KJV) But woe unto you, scribes and
Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against
men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering
to go in. {14} Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye
shall receive the greater damnation. {15} Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when
he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. {16}
Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by
the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple,
he is a debtor!
I guess Jesus was a name caller and unchristian!

WWPD - WHAT WOULD PAUL DO?
(2 Tim 4:14 KJV) Alexander the coppersmith did
me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:
(2 Tim 4:10 KJV) For Demas hath forsaken me,
having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens
to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
I guess Paul was a name caller and unchristian too since
he named names and their sins.

Dear Jesus and Paul,
Please remove me from your e-mail list because you have not shown love. The two
of you are unchristian and name callers.
Sincerely,
Ken

I think you know what I am getting at. Christians who
call evil good, and good evil and think they are pleasing God are deluding
themselves and being deluded. This is because Christians have refused to
study Scripture according to the Scriptures. Instead of doing their own
study, they have relegated their spiritual thinking to their pastor, theologian,
psychologist, friends, group leaders, et al. The time is long past where we can
blindly trust any educated church leaders or self-appointed leaders. We can only
put our trust in the Bible and we must check them out in the Bible.
If you have walked away from personal Bible study, then
you are setting yourself up to be duped. If you are a leader of people and have
departed from or added to Scripture then you are in serious trouble with the
Lord.
(Rev 22:18-19 KJV) For I testify unto every man that
heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto
these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
{19} And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this
prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of
the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
If I was a leader in the church, I would tremble at this
statement. If you don't, then something is wrong because you have lost your fear
of God.
