Standing with Israel is Equal to Standing with Satan

It seems there is a major obsession with many Christians and many churches who believe that if they stand with the modern nation of Israel that they are incurring the approval of God.  For a long time I have encountered Christians who believe if they stand with Israel then God will bless them.  I must admit when I became a Christian back around August 1980, I thought the same way and even attended prophecy conferences at America’s Keswick here in Whiting, New Jersey sponsored by the Friends of Israel ministry.  Once I began to start studying the Bible the idea of the modern nation of Israel being a rebirth of ancient Israel started to fade.  You see I was once a Christian Zionist who believed that the Jews and Christians served the same God and every other religion was of Satan.

When I was young in the faith I had purchased prophecy books which were written from a Christian Zionist perspective.  I was emphatically taught that Genesis 12:1-3 was written as a promise of blessing to the believer who stands with the modern nation of Israel.

¹ Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: ² And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: ³ And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Genesis 12:1-3)

As I matured in the faith and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Genesis 12:1-3 did not mean the same thing I was taught in prophecy books.  It had to do with the blessing and cursing that unbelievers will face if they either bless or curse the Abrahamic line not the modern nation of Israel.  Prophecy preachers have lied because they do not study the Scriptures but only read other authors, then reword what they say and publish their own books which make them famous and rich while deceiving many in the body of Christ who in most cases want to be deceived.

Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. (Galatians 3:7)

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. (Galatians 3:16)

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:29)

In these three verses found in Galatians, we will gain a true understanding of Genesis 12:1-3.  The Genesis verses do not have a country in view, notice in verse 3 it states:

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Genesis 12:3)

The word “thee” is second person singular and is used three times in this verse making the verse personal about Abraham to which it is addressed.  Then it states that in Abraham “all families of the earth will be blessed.”  Now the fulfillment of that promise is in Christ whose kingdom stretches over the entire world.  There is not one country on earth that does not have the witness of the true gospel.  This is one reason that Genesis 12:3 is not speaking of modern Israel because it has not blessed every family in the world.  Ask the Palestinians if modern Israel has blessed them.  Many Palestinians are Christians and are murdered by the Israelis but the American church never raises so much as a verbal objection instead they care more about Israel, the aggressors simply because most clergy in fundamental, dispensationalist churches do not study their Bibles, instead they read theology and prophecy books and because modern Israel has the same name as ancient Israel, they laud its existence as if it was of God but we will see that it has nothing whatsoever to do with the God.

The modern nation of Israel was formed in 1948 in reference to the Balfour Declaration of 1917.  The land was stolen from the Palestinians who lived there for 2,000 years.  Thou shalt not steal. (Exodus 20:15)  The fact that theft is addressed in the Ten Commandments means that the premise that God formed it is an error because God is incapable of sinning and theft is a sin.   The modern nation of Israel does not have as its authority the Hebrew Scriptures instead it has the Babylonian Talmud which is a historical commentary by Rabbis over the centuries.  Now we are going to look at what the Talmud teaches concerning people that are not Jews. Any pastor or theologian who thinks they can unite Judaism with Christianity tells me that you have found a well-paid stooge of the Zionist Lobby in America.

Sanhedrin 107B: Sotah 47a - He was sexually immoral, worshipped statues of stone, was cut off from the Jewish people for His wickedness, and refuse to repent.

Shabbos 104b - He learned witchcraft in Egypt.

As you can so easily read you have quotes with sources showing you exactly what the modern day Jews think about the Lord Jesus Christ, the one who died for you and saved you.  What has the modern nation of Israel done for you?  I can answer that, Nothing!

It must be understood that the Jews are a religion and not a nationality or race of people.  They have come from different nations to Israel and the only thing that binds them is Judaism.  Judaism is a religion which identifies its adherents as Jews just like Hinduism identifies its adherents as Hindus or Islam identifies its adherents as Muslims.  A religion does not represent ancestry.  There are people born here in the United States who are Hindu in religion but that does not make them Indian in ancestry.  There are also many Americans who are Islamic but that does not change their ancestry one bit.  Internationally, Hindus and Muslims are tied to other Hindus and Muslims by religion and not ancestry.  It is the same thing with the Jews, they are internationally tied together by religion and not nationality.  This goes with all world religions such as Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Christian Science, Roman Catholics, etc.  These people have a common bond of religion but not nationality.  This is why those in the modern state of Israel are bound by the common religion of Judaism no matter where they came from around the world.

Since Judaism rejects the Lord Jesus Christ and mocks Him, then those of you who stand with Israel are standing with the enemies of Christ.  If you belong to a church that lauds the modern nation of Israel, then you are standing with the enemies of Christ and you are an enemy of the body of Christ.

He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (1 John 5:12)

That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.  (John 5:23)

Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.  (1 John 2:23)

He that hateth me hateth my Father also.  (John 15:23)

Based upon these four verses, Judaism is a religion which is void of the God they think they are serving.  They have not honored Christ, they have denied Christ, and they hate him.  As the Scripture teaches, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)  No one comes to the Father except through the Lord Jesus Christ.  That includes everyone and anyone on planet earth.  The Jews are not exempt.
