Affected Teaching
Judas (not Iscariot) had three names just like the father-in-law of Moses. Judas was the brother of James who wrote the epistle of Jude. Judas was not the son of James. James and Judas were the sons of Alphaeus. Judas was known also as Thaddeus and Lebbaeus. By the modern versions calling him the son of James, they cause confusion and give another erroneous verse which hinders true Bible Study. The modern versions cannot be relied upon for accuracy. This is just one of many examples.
