EPILOGUE

This course was designed to help you begin your new Christian life on a biblical foundation. If we stray from the Scriptures, we will always get into trouble. I hope you have had a good basic understanding of the subjects we have studied. As older Christians in the faith it is our responsibility to "feed the lambs" of Christ and do it correctly.  This means it is our responsibility to train the next generation.  My desire is to train the next generation according to the Scriptures and not church dogma.

For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:  (Acts 13:36, KJV)

David served his own generation and that is the principle which should guide all Christians no matter how old they are in the faith.  We need to seek to reach our generation with the truths of the Bible.  Christians need to hunker down and get busy learning the Bible and it is important that Christians interpret the Bible by the Bible and not through biased eyes to teach only what is palatable.

There will be times when you fail in your Christian walk, but don't worry about it. Ask God to forgive you, talk with Him about it, and keep your guard up to make sure you don't fall prey to that temptation again. Let me re-emphasize that you cannot lose your salvation, even though sometimes we may feel we have.

NEVER GO BY FEELINGS, ONLY WHAT GOD SAYS IN THE BIBLE IS WHAT COUNTS, AND WHAT YOU SHOULD BELIEVE.

If this course has been helpful to you, then it has achieved its purpose. This course is not only good for new Christians but those who have been in the faith a while because many times as we get older in the faith, we forget about those basic tenets we learned as new Christians which, in essence, are the building blocks to our understanding of the scriptures.  May God Bless you as you begin to follow Him!

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.  (Revelation 21:5, KJV)
