"My name is David. I'm 46 years of age and doing a 15-year sentence in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice on the Ferguson Unit in Midway, Texas. I'm happy to say that, as of July 4, 2006, I'm a born-again Christian.  "I just finished a course with Source of Light Ministries which I've been studying with their lessons for about a year. It might be longer, because time seems to fly peacefully as I study - one of many gifts from God. [When] I finished a course with SLM, they sent me a Bible and Christian materials. One of them is a booklet called 'Joy'/My Bible Reading book, Vol. 2. I must tell you how much of a blessing it is to receive this booklet which is simple but yet so powerful. The description of every book in the Bible with its special verses is fantastic. I didn't think an old goat like me would be smiling ear-to-ear as I read this. Homeless Man, Drowning in Distress, Saved Through Booklet
"In the sinful last days of this world, I plundered myself into the ashes of my own self destruction. I had no vision, no focus, no sense of direction, and I lacked integrity. I wasted time and money on worldly things such as smoking, drinking, stealing, and sexual immorality. In all this, I never experienced love or peace.  "I used to hear about God, and how He changed the lives of many people; but what I really wanted to know was if that could happen to a man like me, who had lost contact with my family and was roaming the streets - homeless. If God can save me from my iniquities, then I want to know Him, I thought. "One day, as I was trapped in confusion and drowning in distress, a man walked up to me and gave me a little booklet titled The Way to God. I was really interested and wanted to know how to get to God. As I read through, it was like someone was audibly speaking to me, saying, 'I love you; I have loved you with an everlasting love; come to me with faith; draw near to me, and I will draw near to you.' Immediately I fell to my knees with tears running down my eyes and prayed, asking Jesus to come into my heart. I promised to serve Him with the gifts He had given me. From that day, my life was made new through Jesus Christ. I am grateful that today I am serving Jesus in my local church and as a distributor of World Missionary Press booklets."

Booklets Help in Many Ways
"I am so glad that Jesus set me free and now I belong to His family. I have seen Him working in miraculous ways through my life, first as a Sunday school teacher in 1992 and now a youth leader in the Diocese of Mbale, which consists of 45 parishes. "I thank Him also for His power from above because I overcame temptations through Him. I must do the Lord's ministry by reaching non-Christian and Christian youths in the area by preaching, teaching, and counseling.  "I read your booklets whenever they are available. They have helped me in many ways; first, they have strengthened me. I have done witnessing through them and also teach both the youth and Sunday school by giving them stories from booklets. Datebook Brightens Inmate's Day
"I am currently incarcerated at California Correctional Institution. I will be here for the next two years, eight months. I read the Scripture-text Datebook every day and use each day's reading as a foundation for that day's Bible study. It is one of the only things I look forward to every day. It is one of the only bright things in my day. "I noticed that World Missionary Press has Bible study books available, and I was wondering if you could send me A Bible Study of Revelation and A Bible Study of Genesis. Church Boosted Through Gospel Booklets
"I want to thank WMP for providing the printed page to us so that we can take the gospel to many lost souls here in Madagascar. "We had school outreaches the past two months. I was involved in all the school outreaches except for one in the northern province. What a blessing to minister in schools! According to our records, we distributed 4,483 Help From Above and 4,483 The Way to God booklets in the past two months to children and their teachers. "We are doing a special project for June, July, and August in three towns in the northern part of our province, supported by Every Home for Christ Int'l. We distribute house to house and at the open markets. We give WMP booklets with one locally printed tract.... A pastor of one of the churches in the largest town said, 'I can't understand that so many people came to our church only because of the tract distribution. Nobody preached to them, but gave out tracts and with our name at the back, they found their way to church.' God is so faithful."

Datebook Brought Peaceful Days and Nights

"Since I found out about your [web]site, I had the urge to order free booklets from you. I already ordered twice from you and, thank God, many were saved because of your booklets. "I feel compelled to write you and thank you. I am in jail in Fresno, California, and came across your booklet. I was wonderfully blessed to see 48 pages of the most amazing truth about our Savior, Jesus Christ. Being a Christian, somehow my spirit was moved and compelled to ask a favor. Could you send 20-30 of these wonderful booklets that I may give to my fellow inmates? God laid on my mind the possibility of a little harvest right here in this jail. Mormon Reads Booklet and Accepts Christ
"Several years ago, you sent a box of Scripture booklets to me. I traveled on a bus and gave them out as the Lord guided. "A Mormon lady wanted to teach Sunday school at the little community church my daughter attends. The pastor didn't know she was Mormon and told her she could teach. My daughter went to prayer, pleading that the children not be confused by hearing false teaching. She asked me if I had anything for her for the class. I sent the last of the beautiful and simple [booklets], The Way to God. She gave them to the Mormon lady on a Saturday. "Everything changed, because the lady read and studied the booklet most of Saturday night and accepted Christ as her Savior. The next day in Sunday school, she told the seven children about accepting Christ; and she read to them from the booklet, teaching them from it. Six of the seven children also accepted Christ that morning. Praise the Lord! She was a new-born baby Christian and led six more to Christ. "We love your work, and my husband and I pray together for you every evening."
