Why is Sin Abounding in our Day?

Corinthians 2:11 (KJV) Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not
ignorant of his devices.
Have
you wondered why it seems that sin is abounding to greater heights every day.
Not a day goes by that we are not
bombarded with some type of sinful perversion.
In the past we had sin in the world but not to the extent we have it now.
When I was growing up boys were boys and girls were girls, there was no
guessing as to what gender a person was.
Boys dressed like boys and girls dressed like girls.
In our day it seems that there is an uncontrolled confusion pervading
this world. The perversion level
seems like it is going to win over true morality.
Christians have fought and continue to challenge the perversions which
are coming on the scene. It seems
that when you challenge one perversion in society another one or two crop up.
Christians are becoming weary in the fight against these perversions but
that was prophesied all the way back in the book of Daniel.
Daniel prophesied that Satan would mount a campaign against God and against the
saints that would eventually wear them out since the saints are flesh and blood
plus true Christians are in the minority in this world.
So to challenge the many perversions in society, true Christians would be
spread very thin thus causing some Christians to take up two or three battles
and eventually wearing them out.
The question is why at this moment in time is sin abounding so greatly and can
it be stopped? It seems we are
living in a time when sins that were committed to back alleys and the night are
now parading down main street of almost every major city in the world.
So why is this happening?
Let’s look at some of the sins that we are dealing with in this world.

In
New York State they passed a law that abortion can be done up to the point of
birth. What would make the Governor
of New York and those standing behind him burst out into smiles and happiness on
their faces? Celebrating the death
of an innocent child?
·
State
of Virginia says that there can be the murder of a child after it is born based
on the preference of the mother.
·
Almost every second commercial on TV is a drug commercial trying to mentally
coerce people into taking drugs. We
are an over-medicated society because the drug companies own and operate the
medical profession.
·
How
could a group like ISIS line up Christians for execution in full view of a
camera hoping to catch every gory detail on film for broadcast around the world.
·
A
nation like the United States which was started by Christians and run on
Christian principles have now thrown God out of schools, the courts, government,
and even churches.
·
How
could a sodomite or an atheist become a pastor of a church and the people in the
pews say nothing about it.
·
How
could Socialists and Marxists be elected to Congress in a nation which was
founded upon Capitalism?
·
How
could countries like Israel and the United States allow the perversion parades
of sodomites to parade down the main street spewing their perversion and
throwing it in the faces of the whole world.
·
How
could the public schools which once taught true subjects in education now become
indoctrination centers for children to accept sodomy as a lifestyle or to accept
drag queens as normal behavior.
·
How
did the boys of this age become so feminized that they have literally turned
into marshmallows?
·
Why
do so many people look to psychics and horoscopes as their guides for life when
they are both satanic and demonically controlled?
·
Why
do many Charismatics use a OUIJA board made with so-called Christian symbols on it when it is nothing more than another occult item?
·
How
did the kundalini spirit get into the church replacing the Holy Spirit who does
not cause people to writhe on the floor and jump around like some kind of moron
on drugs?
·
How
is it that about every 6 months some new version of the Bible comes out.
The modern versions are all counterfeits and from the hand of Satan.
Woe unto those supposed Christians who edit and publish these
counterfeits.
·
How
is it that some boys claim they are girls and some girls claim they are boys?
·
How
could countries allow men to go into ladies rooms and women are allowed to go
into men’s rooms?
·
How
could some parents be so apathetic, stupid, and fearful as to acquiesce to the
perverted demands of their children who want to undergo transgender operations?
I
think you get the picture that sin has definitely abounded into new territory
and has become increasingly worse and vile.
Then why at this time in history is sin mushrooming seemingly out of
control.
The
answer to that question is simple.
We now live in a time when Satan is empowering and emboldening sin.
The time we live in was prophesied back in Revelation which is a history
and prophecy of the church and not the modern nation of Israel.
Revelation 20:7-9 (KJV) And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be
loosed out of his prison, {8} And
shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth,
Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the
sand of the sea. {9} And they went
up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and
the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
Let
us look at each of these pivotal verses which give us an explanation of the time
that we live in.
Rev 20:7 KJV
And
when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
The thousand year reign in Revelation 20 is representative of the entire New
Testament period. One of the
greatest errors of the dispensational belief system is that they push everything
to the future. Remember the verse
in Daniel 7:25 where it states that Satan will change times and laws?
Well he has done this by introducing the dispensational view and since he
did this in 1830 through the Glasgow Prophecy meetings, Christians, mainly
prophecy preachers, have been forcing this mythical belief system on the Bible
with their twisted meaning of Scripture.
They claim the loosing of Satan will be 1,007 years in the future but
brethren look at those list of perversions and compare it to 50 years ago.
None of them were around!
Verse
7 reveals that right at the end of time Satan will be allowed to continue his
deceptions. He will blind the minds of the people of the world on a grander
scale. This is how God will wind down His salvation program by saving less and
less toward the last day. When God saves the last one, then this will usher in
the last day, and then the prophetic events will unfold rapidly and it will be
the end of recorded history. We are very close to the end as we see the increase
in false gospels and New Age philosophies and mounting perversions creeping into
the church and are being embraced by both clergy and congregations.
When it says that Satan will be loosed out of his prison, it is telling us that
the great chain which kept him tied has now been taken out of the way which is
the Holy Spirit who applies salvation to the Elect.
(2 Th 2:7 KJV) For the mystery of
iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken
out of the way. Satan will no longer be hindered as he makes the final
attempt to make war against the Lord Jesus Christ and the body of believers. The
Holy Spirit has been taken out of the way as the great restrainer of evil
because now comes the final battle with Satan and he must be allowed to muster
whatever forces he can for this battle. For
thousands of years the Holy Spirit has restrained evil but now He is slowly
removing his restraining hand from the earth as sin is now reigning like it
never did before. One of the
reasons that Satan wants abortion and homosexuality is because abortion murders
babies and homosexuals cannot have children thus he believes if he can limit
population by these methods, then the last of the Elect cannot be born which
means, in his mind, God cannot save the last one which spells the doom of Satan
and therefore he will not face the lake of fire but he forgets one thing, that
God is not willing that any of the Elect shall perish.

Peter 3:9 (KJV) The Lord is
not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is
longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all
should come to repentance.
Rev 20:8 KJV
And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four
quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the
number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
After Satan is loosed out of his prison, he is allowed once again to deceive the
nations. Notice the verse states that
Satan “shall” go out and deceive the nations and that includes all the nations
of the world which is stated by the term “four quarters of the earth.”
The words “shall go out” is one word in the Greek and it is in the
Indicative Mood which is the mood of fact, that is, Satan will go out to deceive
the nations in a final attempt to gain world domination over the believers and
win the war against Christ which he thinks he can win in his mind.
In
Ezekiel 38 and 39, Gog and Magog were nations who were going to come against
Israel. Magog was a nation from the north. Here though, Gog and Magog are
representing the entire world. This verse tells us that Satan is going to
attempt to muster every evil spirit he can to come to the great and final
battle. We saw this battle previously as Armageddon. Satan will apparently be
able to muster a countless number of demons who will attempt one final battle
against the Kingdom of God. This deception right before the return of Christ
will see many false religions, false gospels and perversions come into
existence. If you notice that Satan’s last weapon in his repository is
deception, so the extreme final days of earth will produce pandemic deception in
the area of the gospel as he will try and make one major attempt to attack the
body of believers by trying to deceive them.
He will have great success in deceiving the unbelievers with many
perversions as we saw in the list above.
Rev 20:9 KJV
And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the
camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out
of heaven, and devoured them.
This verse teaches us that Satan will make one last great sweep of the earth in
an attempt to deceive all the nations with his false religions, false gospels
and perversions. His main point of attack will be the body of Christ where he
will attempt to separate the believer from the Lord Jesus Christ through false
teachings. The camp of the Saints and the beloved city are one and the same as
both describe the body of believers. The camp is where the body of believers
dwell on earth but they are part of the beloved city, the New Jerusalem which is
the body of believers. Then comes the end for Satan. God then sends fire down
from heaven and devours Satan and all his cohorts. The word for “devoured” in
the Greek carries with it the meaning of “destroy or consume.” It is the end for
Satan and all of his evil. If you
notice the timing of the destruction of Satan it will be right after he goes out
to deceive the world. I have no
idea as to how long this time period of deception will be but it seems it is
getting worse day by day but this verse teaches us that the end will come
swiftly and with great power.
Summary
We
are living in the last of the last days as Satan has been loosed to deceive the
nations on a scale he never did before.
The perversions I listed have come on the scene in only the last few
years. Before that we had sin but
it was not on the scale of confusing sin where a boy doesn’t know he is a boy
and a girl doesn’t know she is a girl.
Gender neutral Birth Certificates are also something ridiculous and are a
monument to the deception which Satan has incurred on this world.
Satan is empowering and emboldening sin because right now the
restraining hand of the Holy Spirit has been taken out of the way and the world
is being readied for judgment. Up
to this point Satan could not unleash all his evil because he was restrained but
the bible teaches right at the end of time, he will be loosed to deceive the
nations on a scale never seen before.
This is why we keep seeing new perversions daily but once God’s timetable
has been completed, the end will come.
Don’t lose heart if we can’t keep up with all the perversions going on,
they will be short lived as Judgment Day is coming swiftly and surely.
Remain vigilant and challenge these perversions as best as you can, even
if it seems you did not win the battle, remember the war is not over yet!
Revelation 22:11 (KJV) He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
