Affected Teaching
Two times the Apostle John is told by one of the four living Creatures to come and see. The word “see” in the Greek is “blepe” in the majority of New Testament usage means to “physically see.” This is how it is used in Revelation 6:1 & 3. John is being called to heaven as a witness of things to come and he could not be a witness if he is unable to physically see. In a court of law, an eye witness who did not see something could not be an eye witness, he would be dismissed as pure hearsay but if he sees something physically, then he becomes a credible eyewitness. The modern versions take away his credibility because they leave out the fact that John is not only told to come but to come and see. The purpose for John to see has been extinguished from the modern versions making him a hearsay witness instead of an eyewitness. It is another blatant attack on the clarity of Scripture.

Please note that Revelation 6:5 & 7 have also been truncated by them omitting “and see.”
