Affected Teachings

(John 5:22 KJV) For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: In John 5:22, we read that the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ will be the one who will be doing all the judging. When we look at Matthew 25:31-46, we see that all nations of the world are gathered before the Lord Jesus Christ. When the Gnostics removed “God” from Revelation 20:12, they took away the identification of the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. Rev. 20:12 states that God is going to be the Judge and when we compare that to other Scriptures, we see that the Lord Jesus is the judge and that means that Revelation 20:12 is calling Him “God.” When they remove the name “God” and replace it with the word “throne” it removes the reality of the Deity of Christ and the fact that He is the judge of all mankind. This is another attack on the Lord Jesus Christ as Deity and removes His name from final events of Earth’s history. Once again the King James Bible proves superior in theology as this verse is definitely a matter of doctrine. The word “God” was changed to “the throne” without any explanation given.
