(Gen 41:41 KJV) And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over
all the land of Egypt.
One of the most mystifying prohibitions which has been endemic to
Christianity is the belief that Christians should not run for political
office. First and foremost, there is not one prohibition in Scripture which
states that. In fact, if you search the Scriptures, you will find Christians
in some of the highest offices in the land in some of the ancient countries.
One question I have is why is it permissible and biblical for a Christian to
take a job in a secular company but it is non-scriptural to hold political
office. In the 2012 Presidential race, Mitt Romney ran for President
and he is a Mormon. The sad thing is that many Christian preachers believe
Mormonism is Christian. Those pastors who believe and endorse that belief
should be thrown out of their pulpits until they learn what the words “cult”
and “discern” mean. I have not heard one peep from Salt Lake City decrying
Governor Romney’s run for the presidency.
Now this article is not about other religions but it is to disabuse many
Christians of the idea that it is unscriptural for a Christian to run for
office. At the outset of this article I want to give some examples from the
Scriptures of those Christians who were in political office.
Joseph
(Gen 41:41 KJV) And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over
all the land of Egypt.
Joseph was taken from the private sector as he worked for Potiphar. He
spent two years of humility training in Pharaoh’s prison and was taken from
the prison and made Governor of Egypt. He was second in command to Pharaoh
over all the land and people of Egypt. This position was equal to
Vice-President.
Daniel
(Dan 5:29 KJV) Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with
scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a
proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the
kingdom.
Daniel was taken from his homeland of Israel and brought to Babylon.
Because of his obedience to God, he was made third ruler in the Kingdom of
Babylon. He also was taken from the private sector and placed into the
public sector. This position would be equal to Speaker of the House.
(Dan 6:2 KJV) And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was
first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should
have no damage.
Then when Darius the Mede took over the Kingdom from Nebuchadnezzar, he
made Daniel first president. This position would have been equal to
Vice-President.
David
(1 Chr 29:26 KJV) Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.
David was a shepherd in the private sector before Samuel came and
anointed him to be king on orders of God Himself because God chose David to
be king.
Nehemiah
(Neh 5:14 KJV) Moreover from the time that I was appointed to be their
governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year even unto the two and
thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that is, twelve years, I and
my brethren have not eaten the bread of the governor.
Nehemiah went from being a cup bearer in the King’s service to become
Governor of the land of Judah. Once again, from private sector to public
sector.
Joseph, Daniel, David and Nehemiah were all taken from the private
sector and were placed into high political positions ruling over countries.
If one factors in the believing Kings of Judah, we can see that God does not
only set unbelievers in high political office but He has placed His own
people in those positions. If it was against Scripture to hold a public
office, then why did God Himself choose these four plus the godly kings of
Judah for political office? The northern Kingdom had no godly kings.
It must be taken into account that it was the godly kings of the
Southern Kingdom of Judah which allowed them to remain in the land 135 years
longer than the Northern Kingdom which were taken by the Assyrians into
captivity in 731 BC and Judah remained until 586 BC until she too finally
succumbed to apostasy.
Let us look at the Southern Kingdom in comparison to our country. We
have had Presidents in this country who were Christians and there was godly
leadership. One only has to look at the likes of George Washington or John
Adams and we have had Presidents which were ungodly in character plus their
associations made them suspect. For example Woodrow Wilson sold out this
country in 1913 to the globalist bankers by allowing them to create our
money out of thin air. It is called the Federal Reserve and since its
inception, it only took till 1938 to officially bankrupt this nation. We
have been living on borrowing the fiat money created by the Fed. Look at all
your money, every bill states “Federal Reserve Note.” A Note is not Capital
but represents debt. Since its inception the United States has turned into a
war mongering nation because war makes money for the
military-banking-industrial complex and its globalist owners. Look at the
wars the United States have been involved with since borrowing from the Fed
became the normal way of how Washington does business:

1950 - Korean War - How was North Korea a threat to the US?
1954 - Vietnam (started with advisors and Johnson committed Ground
troops in 1963)

1961 - Bay of Pigs Intervention
1965 - Dominican Republic Invasion
1967 - Gulf of Tonkin False Flag Operation
1967 - Attack on the USS Liberty by Israel (Ship was not allowed to
return fire)
1983 - Grenada
1983 - Beirut Lebanon where 241 marines died
1986 - Libya (Operation El Dorado Canyon)
1989 - US Invasion of Panama
1990 - Gulf War (Desert Storm)
1992 - Somalia (to bring down war Lord Mohammed Farrah Aidid)
1994 - Haiti (to remove the military regime)
1995 - Intervention in Bosnia and Herzegovina
2001 - Invasion of Afghanistan
2002 - The Philippines
2003 - Invasion of Iraq
2011 - Libya (to bring down Muammar Gaddafi)
2011 - Secret air strikes in Yemen
By the way, we have not paid one dollar on the principal of all the
money that has been borrowed which means perpetual debt until the USA is
brought down.
The war fervor in the United States is increasing rapidly especially
since Israel wants the US to attack Iran. If that happens, this will cause a
major conflagration in the Middle East. The United States has bases in over
130 nations and is building a world empire with Federal Reserve financing.
The reality is that the US is broke and cannot afford to keep up these
serial wars for the New World Order and for Israel.
This is the political result of sending unbelievers to Washington and
even local government. In New Jersey under the present administration, if
you have a bank account which has no activity for three years, the state
will confiscate that bank account. I know this because a Representative of
my bank told me that mine was almost to the three year mark. I also know this is true because it happened to me. My bank took my bank account out of circulation until I called them and straightened it out before the money went to Trenton.
It is now more than ever that Christians, and I mean true Christians,
not liberal Protestants or Roman Catholics, neither of which are true
Christians, to run for office. Remember what the story of Shadrach, Meshach,
and Abednego taught us? They were not only showing their total obedience to
God in that matter of refusing to bow to the image but they were also
showing their refusal to bow to the ungodly, satanic form of government they
were under.
Their obedience to God was also their preservation. The fact that they
refused to bow to the local ungodly political system was honored by God
which resulted in them being untouched in the fire plus they were all
promoted instead of murdered. This biblical narrative shows that when a
person is obedient to God and honors His word and principles, God will in
turn honor them and protect them.
(Prov 3:1-2 KJV) My son, forget not
my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: {2} For length of
days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
It is time to drop the notion that unbelievers and those in false
religions make better rulers than those who are blood bought children of
God. This is Satan’s strategy to keep Christians out of political office.
There is no such thing in the Constitution as Separation of Church and
State, none whatsoever, and don’t be fooled by that strategy. If Jews,
Muslims, and other unbelievers can run for office and there is no separation
of Synagogue or Mosque and state, then there is no prohibition for
Christians to run for office. When someone comes to you and says it is in
the Constitution, have a copy handy and tell them to point it out to you.
They wouldn’t even know where to look. Here is where it is found.
By the way, do you know what constitution DOES have the phrase
"separation of church and state"? Why yes, the Soviet Union had this phrase
in their old constitution.
The 1936 U.S.S.R. Constitution "ARTICLE 124.- In order to ensure to citizens freedom of conscience,
the church in the U.S.S.R. is separated from the state, and the school
from the church. Freedom of religious worship and freedom of antireligious
propaganda is recognized for all citizens."
The 1977 U.S.S.R. Constitution "Article 52. - Citizens of the USSR are guaranteed freedom of
conscience, that is, the right to profess or not to profess any religion,
and to conduct religious worship or atheistic propaganda. Incitement of
hostility or hatred on religious grounds is prohibited. In the USSR, the
church is separated from the state, and the school from the church."
Well you are now armed with the truth and if and when true Christians
are elected to office, then maybe they can begin to reverse the
self-destructive path he U.S. is on being the worlds policemen and bully for
the New World Order. There was a time when America stood for liberty and
justice, but now we are loathed all around the world because of our
incessant war mongering and it has to stop because we are too near the end.
Christian, run for office and do not fear Satan’s people. Be obedient to God
and look to Him for your protection and wisdom, and then our country can
come back, one official at a time.
