The Ninth Commandment
(Exodus 20:16 KJV) Thou shalt not bear false
witness against thy neighbour.
The Bible is very clear that Christians are not to bear false witness against
anyone. In fact, the Lord Jesus Christ even commanded us to love our neighbor as
we love ourselves. (Luke 10:27 KJV) And he answering said, Thou shalt love the
Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy
strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. Further down in
Luke 10:29, one of the Lawyers asks the Lord "who is my neighbor?" and that sets
the stage for the Lord's teaching on the Good Samaritan. Harold Camping and his
followers are continuing to teach that every church in the world is apostate
based upon his personal belief system and not on the facts of reality. Unless
someone has visited every church in the world, a blanket accusation against
every church in the world is nothing more than false accusations. This is one of
the most sinful aspects of Campingism and it seems none of the disciples even
take this into consideration because they all see Camping as totally infallible,
if they didn't then they would question his teachings, which they don't! One of
his most stupid declarations is that no one in the world was saved between 1988
and 1994. We do not walk with blinders on, if you walk into 80% of all the
churches around the world you will no doubt find total apostasy and maybe
another 15% you may find partial apostasy but as there will be a remnant of true
believers as we head toward the last day, there will also be a remnant of true
churches tied to that remnant of true believers. Harold Camping and his
followers claim to be the true believers and yet they are very eclectic
concerning the Bible and the verses they use which can be twisted to fit into
his personal belief system. Anyone without a veil over their understanding can
easily see that they are in severe violation of the ninth commandment by falsely
accusing the blood bought brethren, which is absolute sin. I do not expect them
to consider this reality. They seem to be happy with the veil over their
understanding in their rank accusatory mindset.
